Busted!

Let's see some ID young man!

We just got home from our two day staycation at the beach. We had a great time and the water was super warm. So many pictures to go through, but this one had me laughing.

Snaggletooth!

Thursday, July 23, 2009

A little over a week ago, I noticed that a strange tooth was forming on Sean's gum. Today we took him to his first dentist appointment to find out what they would recommend doing with his extra tooth. Here's a few photos of the first dentist visit.

Even though they say that extra teeth are common and this tooth will not need to be pulled, it still has me a bit disappointed. My baby's adorable smile will now be graced with a strange, crooked snaggletooth until it's ready to fall out in about 7 years. Oh well...there goes his modeling career!

Front yard fun!

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

These photos were actually taken last Thursday, but it could easily be today, tomorrow, or next week. In the afternoons around here, the house heats up quite a bit, so the front yard is the place to be. It's cool and shady, and now that we have the picket fence, the kids can't wander off into the street. Lots of somersaults, red-light-green-light (and yellow-light-purple-light-blue -light), and chalk drawings fill our afternoons.

Hey, watch where you're aiming that thing!

Just finally getting around to scanning in the adorable photos we had taken right after her third birthday. Such a little princess!!

Fourth of July Weekend!

Sunday, July 5, 2009

Our fourth of July weekend started out with a fun teddy bear's picnic birthday party for one of our fabulous little friends. The kids had a great time running around the large park. It even wore Caityn out enough for a nap before the Friday night fireworks. I have photos of this party, but unfortunately, blogger won't let me upload any more to this post :(.

Caityn was so determined to take a nap that day so she could see the fireworks. She tried really hard to make that nap happen! Good thing too, since we were not going to see the fireworks on the fourth.

Chillin on the beach waiting for the fireworks to start.

On Saturday, we didn't do too much. Just stayed home and watched the kids swim, but Sean did have a little fashion show for us.

Sunday, we headed out to the beach for a morning of fun. The water was freezing, but that didn't stop the kids from splashing around in the bay.

Of course, rolling in the sand occurs AFTER a dip in the bay!

The kids were loving the hole that Grandpa dug out for them.

Sean shares a drink of water with his buddy Petey. And, yes, he did actually put his face in the water and take a drink!
