The other day, when we were in the dollar section of Target, I bought Caityn a plastic placemat with letters that she could trace with a dry erase marker. I gave it to her and set her loose with the marker thinking she would enjoy drawing on it. Without even really teaching her how to write the letters, this is what she was able to do all on her own. I was so impressed!

Today I took Caityn and Sean to my mom's house to play with family friend Presley. My mom was babysitting Presley while her mom was in the hospital having her baby brother Reece. Presley didn't seem like she knew what was really happening today, but the girls had fun anyways playing in the pool.
Look Ma! One hand!
Just a goofy grin
Sean looks super excited to go down this slide

I have always loved this photo of Caityn sitting up next to her younger baby buddies. With her are Jane's Luke and Karie's Tatianna and one other baby I don't remember.
Now Sean is sitting up among all his younger buddies. With him are Jane's newest one, Nathan, baby Samantha, and Colleen's Charlie. I can't wait to watch them grow up together and get to be good friends :)

This weekend we took the kids to the Wild Animal Park for the Fisher Price play weekend. The Little People were scheduled to make an appearance and Caityn was super excited about that. I had to explain to her that when we saw them, they wouldn't be little like her toys, but that they would be big like Big Bird. I think she understood, but when she actually saw them, she was still freaked out.
I dont' know why we decided to take a trip to the WAP in the middle of the summer. It was SUPER HOT!! It didn't help that the toy area was under a tent with zero circulation. At least Caityn had a fun time playing with the toys and riding on the Power Wheels car. We met her friend Mya there and the two girls had a blast running around the park. It didn't even matter that we didn't see many animals. Just being with her friend was fun enough for her. Every time Mya left her sight she kept asking me, "Where's my Mya?" Very cute :)

That's a cute dollhouse!
